Iris Dimmick is the private grants manager at Haven for Hope, San Antonio’s transformational shelter and resource campus for people experiencing homelessness. She grew up in Colorado, received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Central Washington University, and began her professional career in San Antonio more than a decade ago as an editor and journalist, covering local government, housing, policing, social services, public health, and community development.
